- Vehicle description: motor homes. A clear bulb was used in the turn signal lamp instead of amber as required by FMVSS no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
- Consequence
- The turn signal will appear clear instead of amber.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the clear/white turn signal bulbs with amber turn signal bulbs.
- Notes
- Owner notification began March 6, 2000.OWNERS who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact damon at 1-800-860-3812.ALSO contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
