Summary: Vehicle description: mini motor homes. Certain pleated shades failed the requirements of FMVSS no. 302, "flammability of interior materials."
Consequence: If a fire occurred in the motor home, the pleated shades would burn at an accelerated rate, increasing the risk of personal injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the pleated shades on these motor homes.
Notes: Owner notificationbegan March 13,2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact jayco at 1-877-825-4782.
