Summary: Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The front lower brake hoses can develop a crack, causing a loss of brake fluid.
Consequence: This could result in impaired braking ability and a possible crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the left and right lower brake hoses.
Notes: Owner notification began September 20, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Mitsubishi at 1-800-222-0037.
