- Vehicle description: fifth wheel travel trailers equipped with atwood mobile products' telescoping landing gear. The landing gear pin could shear under heavy loading conditions allowing the front end of the trailer to fall.
- Consequence
- This condition could lead to a loss of control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the pins in the affected units.
- Notes
- Owner notification began December 11, 2000.
