- On some trailer mounted aerial work platform booms, certain personnel platform elevating jibs and associated composite bearings can fail.
- Consequence
- This can lead to damage and eventual failure of the jib structure, which could result in the platform dropping some distance.
- Remedy
- Genie will provide a jib assembly to the owners of the affected machines. The recall began on August 9, 2004. Owners should contact genie at 1-800-536-1800.
