- Summary
- On certain trucks, the power steering pipe clamp was not installed.
- Consequence
- The pipe could fracture causing the loss of power steering, which could result in a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect each vehicle and determine if the power steering clip is installed. If the power steering pipe clip is not installed, the correct clip will be added. The recall began on August 23, 2004. Owners should contact hino at 1-845-365-1400.
