- Summary
- On certain trucks distributed by Dodge or freightliner and equipped with a tire valve, TR600, on 16" tires, the valve can develop cracks within the rubber part or between the metal part and the rubber part of the valve stem.
- Consequence
- Such cracking may lead to a loss of air pressure at the valve stem, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the tire valves on all sprinter vehicles. The recall began on April 4, 2005. Owners should contact daimlerchrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
