- Summary
- On certain single axle brush chipper trailers, fatigue and cracks can occur in the tongue weldment.
- Consequence
- Tongue failure can occur resulting in separation from the towed vehicle which can increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the tongue free of charge. The recall is began March 7, 2005. Owners may contact vermeer at 641-628-3141.
