- Summary
- On certain 60' articulated transit buses, the starter cable and additional heavy gauge wires had inadvertently been attached to the starter stud during the manufacturing and assembly process.
- Consequence
- Over time, the starter solenoid could crack and a short circuit might develop that would result in a vehicle fire.
- Remedy
- These vehicles were sent to only one customer, new jersey transit. All vehicles have been corrected.
