Certain terex aerial devices, tlp, tlm, and hr units, equipped with holding valves with caca and cwck model desigination produced with February 1 to April 10, 2006 date codes.

Summary: Certain terex aerial devices, tlp, tlm, and hr units, equipped with holding valves with caca and cwck model desigination produced with February 1 to April 10, 2006 date codes. A seal in the holding valve can fail and leak.
Consequence: If seal leakage occurs, the boom may drift. A drifting platform can result in serious injury or death.
Remedy: Terex will notify owners and replace the defective holding valves free of charge. The recall began on August 31, 2006. Owners may contact terex at 605-882-4000.
