On certain ambulances, some electronic modules used in the multiplexing system could experience an electrical short circuit.

Summary: On certain ambulances, some electronic modules used in the multiplexing system could experience an electrical short circuit.
Consequence: A short circuit could result in a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will install a 2 amp. Fuse on the ground wire of the module to eliminate the possibility of overheating. The recall is expected to begin during April 2006. Owners may contact demers at 1-800-363-7591.
