- Summary
- On certain fire trucks equipped with certain nmb-minebea kingpin ballpin suspension assemblies, the kingpin ballpin assembly can fracture possibly allowing the associated wheel to disengage from part of the suspension.
- Consequence
- Wheel separation while the vehicle is in use could lead to a vehicle crash.
- Remedy
- Ferrara has replaced the king pins on all twelve fire trucks. No further action is necessary.
