- On certain trailers, fatigue cracks can occur in a heat affected zone of the tongue weldment.
- Consequence
- This could result in tongue separation from the towed vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect and repair the tongues on the affected trailers. The recall is expected to begin on June 19, 2006. Owners may contact vermeer at 1-641-628-3141.
