- On certain trailers equipped with accuride aluminum wheels, the wheels may not have been properly pre-stressed and may experience premature cracking on the disc face that could result in failure.
- Consequence
- Should the wheel fail while the vehicle is in use, a vehicle crash could occur, possibly resulting in injury or death.
- Remedy
- Wabash is working with accuride to inspect these trailers and replace the wheels if necessary. Owners may contact accuride at 1-800-869-2275 or wabash at 765-771-5563.
