Mack trucks is recalling certain model year 2008-2010 trucks which fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 121, "air brake systems."

- Consequence
- Failure to conform to the requirements increases the application and release time of the service brakes, which could potentially result in a vehicle crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will rework the air system free of charge. The safety recall began o January 12, 2010. Owners may contact mack trucks at 1-800-528-6586.
