Starcraft Emblem and Lexion

In the presence of moisture, a remote activation module for the leveling jack may activate autonomously without the use of the remote control.

Summary: Starcraft is recalling certain model year 2010 lexion and emblem fifth wheel travel trailers. In the presence of moisture, a remote activation module for the leveling jack may activate autonomously without the use of the remote control.
Consequence: If the jack were to activate while the vehicle is being towed, it could result in a crash leading to property damage, injury, or death.
Remedy: Dealers will install a relay which will prevent the remote module from self-activating in the presence of moisture. The safety recall is expected to begin during February 2010. Owners may contact starcraft at 1-800-945-4787.
