In the affected vehicles, the fireplace may ignite a piece of exposed wood inside the electric fireplace.

Summary: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Allegro 33AA motorhomes equipped with an electric fireplace. In the affected vehicles, the fireplace may ignite a piece of exposed wood inside the electric fireplace.
Consequence: If the exposed piece of wood ignites, the rest of the motorhome could also catch fire.
Remedy: Tiffin will notify owners, and dealers will install a heat shield to keep heat from the exposed wood, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Tiffin at 1-256-356-8661.
