- Summary
- Duruxx LLC (Duruxx) is recalling certain 2015-2016 DRX2 Low-Speed vehicles. The affected vehicles can exceed the 40 km/h speed allowed under the "Low Speed Vehicle" classification. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 500, "Low Speed Vehicles."
- Consequence
- If the vehicles can exceed the allowed speed, it can increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Duruxx will notify owners, and dealers will adjust the throttle body to limit the maximum speed, free of charge. The recall began on September 7, 2017.
