2021 Prevost X3-45 Commuter

One bolt that secures the rear bench seat frame to the body of the vehicle was not installed during the manufacturing process.

Summary: Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2021 X3-45 commuter buses. One bolt that secures the rear bench seat frame to the body of the vehicle was not installed during the manufacturing process. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Consequence: During a crash, the rear seats could separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of an injury.
Remedy: Dealers will install the missing bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on August 22, 2022. Owners may contact Prevost's customer service at 1-866-870-2046.
