- Summary
- Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 MD6 and MD7 vehicles. The steering gear fasteners may not be properly tightened.
- Consequence
- Loose steering gear fasteners may result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will tighten the steering gear fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 23, 2023. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0449.
