XOS SV05 and SA01
The bolts and brackets connecting the hardware to the electronic parking brake system may come loose, causing the parking brake to fail.

- Summary
- Xos, Inc (Xos) is recalling certain 2021-2022 SV05 and 2021 SA01 vehicles. The bolts and brackets connecting the hardware to the electronic parking brake system may come loose, causing the parking brake to fail.
- Consequence
- Electronic parking brake failure can result in a rollaway if the vehicle is not in park with the manual park brake engaged, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the affected hardware and update the vehicle software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 8, 2024. Owners may contact Xos customer service at 1-818-316-1890. Xos's number for this recall is REC 003-23.
