- Summary
- Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 DC (Legend) dump trucks. The upper hoist cylinder mounting pin may fail.
- Consequence
- A pin failure can allow the hoist to fall, increasing the risk of injury. In addition, the hoist cylinder can disconnect from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect, repair, or replace the pin as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 24, 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is DC-2403.
