- Summary
- Micro Bird USA, LLC (Micro Bird USA) is recalling certain 2026 G5 transit buses equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
- Consequence
- An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 8, 2025. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-117-QVC.
