- Summary
- FWMOTO INC. (FLYE) is recalling certain 2024 FWMOTO FLY-10 and 2022-2024 FLY E-BIKE FLY-10 scooters. The rear wheel hub may be missing the DOT marking. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Controls and Displays."
- Consequence
- The wheel hub may be improperly assembled or installed without the proper markings to identify the part, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
- Remedy
- FLYE will replace the rear wheel hub, free of charge, or repurchase the vehicle. Owner notification letters were mailed March 27, 2026. Owners may contact FLYE customer service at 646-961-5177 or email support@flyebike.com.
