- Summary
- Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Blue Arc BA4L-800 vehicles. The mounting fasteners may loosen or detach, causing the steering gearbox to bind.
- Consequence
- Binding in the gearbox can cause a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy
- Shyft will replace the steering gearbox mounting bolts and washers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 23, 2026. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 26-01.
