- Summary
- International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026-2027 IC Bus EVSB school buses. The mounting bracket bolts may have been improperly tightened, allowing the drive motor to detach.
- Consequence
- A detach drive motor can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will tighten or replace the drive mounting bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 22, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26507. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning July 20, 2026.
