- Summary
- General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Cadillac Vistiq vehicles. When the power fold feature is activated, the third-row power seatback may fail to reverse when enountering a person.
- Consequence
- A person, especially a child, may be trapped by a rear powered seatback, increasing their risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealers will reprogram the software for the folding seat module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 6, 2026. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223. The manufacturer's number for this recall is N262555780. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on June 18, 2026.
