- Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2027 Salem and Wildwood travel trailers. The exterior griddle may be stowed while still connected to the LP gas line.
- Consequence
- A griddle stowed while the gas is still in use can increase the risk of a fire.
- Remedy
- Dealers will install a clamp on the griddle to ensure it cannot be stowed with gas connected, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 15, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River's number for this recall is 06-2095.
