Notes: Possibility that special pitman arm with slightly larger serrated hole than standard pitman arm was inadvertently installed on subject vehicles.in case of an over-toleranced hole combined with an under-toleranced steering sector shaft, arm would not be tightened onto taper before nut bottomed out, thus leaving arm loose on serrations.before failure occurs, extreme looseness in steering will be observed by driver.(correct by inspection and installation of correct arm.)
