Notes: Possibility vehicles equipped with transfer lever steering systems were erected with weldment-type transfer lever assembly which does not meet specifications.if weld securing lever to pivot pin cracks, would permit eventual separation of lever and pin and cause loss of steering control.(correct by inspecting assembly and if necessary replacing with newly designed transfer lever assembly.)
