- Possibility that dash pot mounting bracket may contact fuel hose connectingfuel pump with car- buretor.also, fuel hose may con- tact sheet metal clampsecuring wiring harness to fan housing.if either of these conditions exists,contact will cause hose to chafe through hose wall.(correct by inspecting andmodifying where necessary.)
