Notes: Truck tractors.possibility that steering gear cover that provides oil to oneside of the cylinder was improperly drilled.the cylinder was improperlydrilled.the problem exists only when this steering gear is used with anauxiliary cylinder, or rotary cylinder (slave gear).under thesecircumstances, a hydraulic lock can occur causing loss of steering control.(correct by inspecting and replacing steering gear where necessary).heavytruck.
