Summary: The hoses on the involved vehicles may not have been properly installed. As a result, air leakage could occur. This constitutes a non-compliance to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 106, "brake hoses". Complete failure will however, actuate the tractor protection valve and the trailer parking brakes will be applied automatically.
Remedy: The dealer will inspect and, if necessary, replace the hose assembly, free of charge.
