- The fuel filler caps on the involved vehicles may fail to meet the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 301, "fuel system integrity". In the event of a rear-end collision, fuel leakage may occur.
- Remedy
- Owner will be sent an improved fuel filler cap to replace the defective cap. Owner may install it himself, or have it installed by dealer, without charge.
