Summary: The involved vehicles were assembled with front axle u-bolts which were fabricated from defective raw material and could crack. This could lead to failure of the u-bolts and separation of the steering axle from the truck chassis.
Remedy: Dealer will inspect and replace u-bolts as found necessary, at no cost to owner.
