Summary: There may be a malfunction of the windshield washer pump due to its position in the engine bay.
Remedy: Dealer will reposition the windshield washer pump. Pumps will also be replaced on ceratin vehicles, without charge to owners.
Notes: Vehicle description: passenger vehicles.system: visual; windshield washer.consequences of defect: failure of the washer motor (particularly when thewindshield becomes obscured due to dirt or other foreign matter) will interferewith driver visibility. This creates a safety hazard that could lead to anaccident.
