- Summary
- The furnace on the involved vehicles was not anchored to the floor under the dinette seat. Normal driving would cause the furnace to shift around under the seat. This could cause the furnace vent pipe to pull away from the sidewall sealing gasket.
- Remedy
- Dealer will secure the furnace to the floor without charge to owner.
- Notes
- Vehicle description: vans.system: l.p. Gas; furnace.consequences of defect: if this occurs, deadly carbon monoxide gas could enterthe passenger compartment whenever the furnace is in use. This could result indeath of the vehicle occupants.note: owner is advised not to use the furnace until it can be properly secured.
