- Summary
- The fuel shut-off valve in the generator compartment may contact a battery cable terminal or the starter solenoid of the 7000 kohler generator. This contact causes an electrical short circuit and possible fuel line leakage. Consequence of defect: should a short occur the fuel line would be damaged, causing a gasoline leakage. A potential for an explosion and/or fire.
- Remedy
- Secure fuel line in a position away from the battery cable terminal.
