Summary: Wheels may have been fitted to the truck hubs without the required adaptor plates causing the wheel to remain loose on the hub. Consequence of defect: a loose wheel could cause vibration and damage to the wheel and could result in the wheel separating from the vehicle which may lead to an accident.
Remedy: Install adaptors and properly torque wheel attachments. If necessary, replace wheel.
Notes: System: wheels. Vehicle description: pickup trucks with special 16.0 x 7.0 aluminum wheels sold as the john riggins signature series.
