Fuel tank located too close to drive shaft, so that under certain conditions, the tanks mating flange may be struck by the universal joint on drive shaft.

Summary: Fuel tank located too close to drive shaft, so that under certain conditions, the tanks mating flange may be struck by the universal joint on drive shaft.
Consequence: Contact of the universal joint with the fuel tank couldeventually cause tank to leak fuel, which might become a fire hazard.
Remedy: Replace with newly designed tank to preclude interference with universal joint of the drive shaft.
