Summary: The shift lever may not drop into park detent when placed in the park position.
Consequence: The shift lever may move from park to reverse allowingunexpected vehicle movement and a vehicle crash may occur.
Remedy: Adjust steering column and shift linkage to obtain clearance between the shift rod lever and the dash panel opening.
