Summary: Engine wiring harness may come in contact with the alternator housing. With normal engine movement over a period of time, the alternator housing could wear through the wire insulation of the harness.
Consequence: This could cause a short circuit which would affectengine operation by cutting off fuel delivery and which could result in anelectrical fire.
Remedy: Inspect and repair engine wiring harness.
