Summary: The top hinged rear gate (door) horizontal structural member develops fatigue cracks because of bending at the hinges and center brace attachment bracket.
Consequence: If fatigue cracks progress far enough, the rear gate canseparate and fall off, without warning, into the path of following traffic,and cause other vehicles to crash.
Remedy: Reinforce the hinges and the center brace attachment bracket by qualified welders from dorsey authorized firms.
