Summary: When the fuel tanks were tested in accordance with federal motor carrier safety regulation 363.67, fuel tank caps and/or filler neck welds leaked.
Consequence: In case of an accident the fuel tanks may leak and ifa source of ignition is present, fuel leakage can result in a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will expand the filler neck inner tube to prevent fuel from leaking out between it and the outer tube.
