Summary: The mounting bracket for the rear trailer hitch may break because it does not have sufficient strength to withstand the loads of an attached trailer.
Consequence: Should the trailer hitch mounting bracket break, thetrailer would separate from the motorhome and would be attached only by thesafety chains, causing possible loss of control of the trailer and/or themotorhome, which could result in a vehicle accident.
Remedy: Install additional support brackets to the trailer hitch mounting bracket.
