- High temperatures produced by the generator exhaust pipe can result in heat distortion and subsequent rupture of the air lines. A rupture would cause a malfunction of the instrument panel air pressure gauges and/or engagement of the manual parking/emergency brake.
- Consequence
- If the air line ruptures, the manualparking/emergency brake will engage, abruptly stopping the vehicle without warning, which can cause an accident.
