- The front and/or rear tank mounting straps can crack or break.
- Consequence
- Broken mounting straps will allow the fuel tank to drop to the pavement resulting in a fuel leak and possible vehicle fire.
- Remedy
- A revised front and rear fuel tank mounting strap will be installed and a middle strap will be installed.
