- During assembly, the tie rod end nuts were not properly torqued. Extremely low torque can allow movement between the ball stud and the tie rod arm causing damage.
- Consequence
- This condition can affect the driver's ability tosteer the vehicle increasing the potential for a vehicle accident.
- Remedy
- Dealers will retorque these axles to rockwell's specifications.
