- Summary
- The fuel tank strap can break allowing a slight upward movement of the tank. A dual fuel tank strap breakage can also allow the tank to slide forward or rearward.
- Consequence
- Movement of the fuel tank can allow diesel fuel to leak, possibly resulting in a vehicle fire.
- Remedy
- The top fuel tank strap will be replaced with a redesigned, thicker strap.
