- Summary
- The welded joints connecting the catalytic converter muffler and the exhaust pipe was inferior. The weld can crack under normal operation.
- Consequence
- This condition could cause emission gas leakage and possibly could result in the muffler assembly falling onto the roadway and causing a traffic accident.
- Remedy
- Dealers will replace the muffler assembly.
